Time Schedule:
Linda L Nash
HSTAA 531
Seattle Campus
Class description
This is the first quarter of a two-quarter research seminar in 20th Century US history. (Actually it should be HSTAA 532-33, but I numbered it wrong. So students will take HSTAA 531 this quarter and HSTAA 532 next quarter; both quarters are required.) Students will pursue their own research on any topic in 20th Century US History, culminating in a seminar paper to be presented at the end of spring quarter. The assigned reading for the course will be minimal.
Student learning goals

Recommended preparation
Course is restricted to graduate students in History. Others may occasionally be admitted to the course at the discretion of the instructor.
Class assignments and grading
Students will receive an "X" at the end of winter quarter. A grade for both quarters will be issued at the end of spring quarter, based primarily on the final paper.
