Class description
LATIN AMERICA SINCE WORLD WAR II
Discusses the most important challenges facing the region since World War II. Focus is on the large countries of Latin America. Basic concepts and basic texts are reviewed in the first half of the quarter and from this background, students select a research topic for a paper due at the end of the quarter.
