Analysis of the techniques of war from the Renaissance to the present with consideration of the social, political, and economic consequences of war in the Western world.
Class description
In this course we will examine the impact of war on various societies. Special emphasis on World War II and its impact on American, British and German Society.

Class assignments and grading
A ten page paper, a midterm and final exam. Grades will be based on the quality of the work done.
