Seminar in Global Trade, Transportation, and Logistics

Interdisciplinary seminar that brings together students with academics and practitioners at the forefront of trade, transportation, and logistics in discussions of selected topics. Additionally, students research issues of special interest. Prerequisite: OPMGT 535, GTTL 501, or permission of instructor. Offered: jointly with OPMGT 536; Sp.

Class description

INNOVATION AND THE 'WIN-WIN': EFFORTS TOWARDS OVERCOMING CHALLENGES AND CREATING OPPORTUNITIES TO ENHANCE THE BOTTOM LINE AND THE OVERALL PUBLIC GOOD. This is the final Core 2 component of the GTTL Interdisciplinary Graduate Certificate.

Assorted guest lecturers from government and industry.

Recommended preparation

Class assignments and grading

Students will participate in a group research project, to be presented with poster session at the GTTL 17th Annual Conference (with networking reception) on June 6th.

Class participation, peer performance rating, overall project quality.
