Introduction to quantitative methods in geography, with a primary focus on statistical techniques. Examines the basic concepts, reasoning, and procedures geographers use in developing, analyzing, applying, and presenting quantitative methods. Class description
This course introduces students to the basic issues and practices of social-geographic research. We concentrate on developing skills that will allow students to conduct their own research projects in their future coursework. It will also prepare them for future techniques courses.
