Class description
Students should be ready to discuss multiple topics, including the transitions to college life and how to get what you want and where you want here at the University of Washington. Emphasis is placed on preparing the students for what is ahead in their future years at the university.

Class assignments and grading
Most assignments will be done on the internet using the catalyst portfolio tool, though other assignments will be distributed throughout the quarter.
Attendance is mandatory, and absences can and will result in a loss of credit. All assignments must be completed for credit, and participation during class is strongly encouraged. Those who have fun and enjoy the class tend to get more out of it, so have fun!
