Class assignments and grading

During the course of this quarter, we will be going on four excursions. Two will be done as a class and two will be individual. There will also be a portfolio required at the end of the quarter, along with several in-class activities.(Don't worry, it's sounds like a lot, but it's fun.)

This class is graded CR/NC. In order to receive credit, all students will need to attend every class (no unexcused absenses) and ALL assignments must be turned in on time.

The information above is intended to be helpful in choosing courses. Because the instructor may further develop his/her plans for this course, its characteristics are subject to change without notice. In most cases, the official course syllabus will be distributed on the first day of class.
