Class description

This graduate section of the Environmental Sociology course will focus on the social construction of environmental problems and management approaches. We will explore in depth, the political, economic and cultural factors that help explain why some environmental problems receive more attention than others.

Acquire a holistic and critical perspective toward social environmental phenomena.
