Class description

Students will produce a research paper of approximately 8000 words on a topic pertinent to European Studies.

General method of instruction

Regular discussions of research papers.

Recommended preparation

Course is open only to EURO majors, by permission of instructor.

Class assignments and grading

Producing preliminary drafts and a final draft of a research paper.

Papers will be graded by the professor as well as by the particular faculty member who serves as 'mentor' for each project. Grades will be assigned in consultation between the professor and the mentor.
