How to evaluate a technical opportunity and to choose the best models for building a business around it.

Student learning goals

General method of instruction

Students will work in teams to select technologies available through the UW Office of Technology Licensing and do market research on them to determine the best routes to bring them to market. Teams will compare techniques and results in class with guidance from the instructor.

Read about successful inventors and how they created companies around their ideas.
