Intensive study of ways and means of making a poem. Prerequisite: ENGL 383.
Class Description
For WINTER 2003: Imagery and Rhythm. This workshop will focus on the architecture of the poem, how poets use language in particular and creative ways. Focus will be on the reading of poems and how writers use sounds and phrases to create the structure of the poem. Prerequisite: ENGL 383 and instructor permission; application forms in Creative Writing office, B-25 PDL.
