Counseling Practicum

Supervised practice in counseling. Prerequisite: EDPSY 545 or permission of instructor. Offered: Sp.

Class description

Students will learn the theories and practice of counseling children and adolescents. They will take part in actual therapy sessions, providing counseling to clients at the Clinical Training Laboratory.

Utilizes traditional lecture style as well as client sessions for understanding the process of counseling.
