Introduction to Educational Measurement

Practical understanding of test reliability, validity, and derived scores as they apply to external educational assessments; concepts of criterion and norm-referenced testing; review of group administered norm-referenced and criterion-referenced tests and/or testing programs; test interpretation; issues and ethics in large scale assessment. Prerequisite: EDPSY 490.
