Intermediate Macroeconomics

Analysis of the determinants of the aggregate level of employment, output, prices, and income of an economy. Policy issues and applications with special reference to current monetary and fiscal policy. Prerequisite: 2.0 in ECON 201; 2.0 in ECON 300. Offered: AWSpS.

Class description

This course covers macroeconomic theory, including such topics as economic growth, business cycles, monetary and fiscal policy, and the open economy. It is taught assuming that students have completed 201, and is intended for sophomores concentrating in economics (though other students are welcome).
