Introduction to Screen Acting. Overview of history of film grammar and film performance, screenplay and teleplay script analysis, scenework, production crew assignments.

General method of instruction
On camera scenework. Review of dailies and edited scenes.
Recommended preparation
Admission by audition only.
Class assignments and grading
Three 500 word papers and scenework.
Papers constitute 30% of the total grade. Scenework, attendance and class contributions constitute the remaining 70%.
