Development of a conceptual and technical process for designing lighting for stage performance.

General method of instruction
Includes play analysis, conceptual development, organization of lighting ideas, worksheets, plotting, instrument selection, color selection, and drafting. Includes both theoretical (paper) and practical (live) assignments.
Recommended preparation
Prerequisite: Permission of Instructor, Drafting (may be taken concurrently.)
