The course is sequential and each level requires the previous course as its prerequisite. An audition is required sometime during the year-long Drama 250 series and is part of the student's Drama 253 grade.
Drama 251 is only offered in Autumn Quarter, 252 in Winter and 253 in Spring.

With group warm-ups, physical exercises, small scenes and monologues, students develop skills in concentration, observation, focus of attention and playing an action moment-to-moment.
