Class description
This course will provide students with a "taste" of a variety of areas relating to the design and execution of a scenic design for the theatre. Students receive experience in and instruction on collaborating on a creative team, types of theatre architecture and spaces, methods of collecting visual research, drawing on a variety visual sources, designing within the limitations of available space, and introductions to scenic construction and painting. Please note that this class is highly collaborative with fellow classmates and, therefore, attendance is of great importance.
