The course is will be a combination of lecture and discussion of papers that follow from the lecture material.
Recommended preparation
Graduate status in a biology - related discipline and an interest in learning about bacteria.
Class assignments and grading
The will be one exam and each week will include preparation and in-class discussion of primary literature.
Grades will 40% based on the exam and 60% based on in-class discussion.
