Interested in popular music? How about the top of the pops from the 16th and 19th centuries in Britain, Scandinavia, and Appalachia and the Ozarks? This is the music that took all of Europe by storm with its captivating melodies and alternately tragic or hilarious lyrics. This is the music that lies at the roots of Bluegrass.
