Class description
This course integrates speaking,reading and writing skills based on some of the more famous Chinese films of the last few decades. We will watch 5 movies in the entire quarter. There is a teacher made text book that goes with the movie, where students will learn the main idea and commentary of the movie. Students will learn the vocabulary from the movie and they will do in class discussion, and after class written responses. The prerequisites are: Chin 213 or 303 or Chin 482.

Class assignments and grading
Class assignments will be a combination of vocabulary exercise, making sentences, prepare for the oral presentation, and writing composition. Grading will be a combination of class participation, homework, quiz and exam.
