Class description
This course will explore the literary-historical influences present in the work of late poet and hip hop artist Tupac Shakur. We will look at a variety of texts, including Sun Tzu’s "The Art of War," Machiavelli’s "The Prince," Frantz Fanon’s "Wretched of the Earth" and various selections from the works of Antonio Gramsci and Huey P.
