Supervised readings and group discussion. Prerequisite: BIOL 356.

Class description

Fall Farm Lunch:

The farm lunch lecture series was developed to support the learning goals of the UW student farm. This fall we will cover the topics of successful garlic planting, animals on the urban homestead, and the role of urban agriculture in supporting a more sustainable food system.

Student learning goals

Students gain an appreciation for the possibilities of urban agriculture.

Students will better understand the connections between food systems and sustainability.
