The main aim of BIOC/BMSD 540 is to help you sharpen your skills at reading and writing research papers.

General method of instruction
The faculty member who is in charge of the session will assign one or two papers for discussion, and we’ll distribute photocopies or pdf files of the papers to you the previous week. The format of the discussion will vary from week to week.

There will be short written assignments for most of the sessions.
