Class description

Rembrandt and Vermeer: Perspectives on the golden age of Dutch art as seen through two of its greatest masters, Rembrandt van Rijn and Jan Vermeer. Topics include genre painting; art and narrative; images of women; the van Meegeren forgeries; print-making; and the Rembrandt Research Project.
