Advanced Painting

Development of individuality in painting through creative exercises. Prerequisite: ART 360.

Class Description

Autumn 2003 Students will extend their understanding of creative possibilities in painting in terms of materials, process and concepts.

Individual critique, and group lectures and discussion

Recommended preparation

Introductory painting and Introductory drawing

Class Assignments and Grading

Individual projects determined by student and instructor, some selected readings

Intellectual and creative growth, quality of work
