Advanced topics in 2-D imaging, with emphasis on creative exploration of both software tools and possible integration with traditional art media. Prerequisite: ART 340.
Class description
Students will activate digital imaging proficiency for developing Web and User Interface Interactivity. Introduction to Adobe Web Applications such as Fireworks!, Flash, and Dreamweaver will advance knowledge for developing interactive digital images that nest in action, whether implied or animated. Practice can further yield works in Internet Art or Web Portfolio. Distinction between Web 1.0 and Web 2.0 will be of significant focus.
