Intermediate Painting

Prerequisite: ART 257.

Class Description

Autumn 2003 Fundamental concepts in painting: material, visual structure, color and methods.

Individual and group critiques, slide presentations

Recommended preparation

Beginning Painting, Beginning/Intermediate Drawing

Class Assignments and Grading

Emphasis will be on landscape painting for class and out side of class projects, selected readings

Progress and quality of work.
