Researching Indians' History

Finding and interpreting sources of information about American Indians' history. Offered: jointly with HSTAA 315:

Class description

How and where to find sources of information about the history of American Indians (and, by extension, the histories of other peoples); tips for library and archival research; how to evaluate and interpret primary historical evidence and secondary accounts of history; investigation of issues selected by students regarding the history of Indians in Washington State
