Class description
Fraud examination provides students a comprehensive introduction to the concepts and techniques of the fraud examination process. The course includes topics such as the fraud environment, who commits fraud, the elements of the fraud triangle, methods to prevent and detect fraud, occupational and financial statement fraud schemes, the fraud investigation process, the role of ethics and controls, legal considerations, and data analytics.
