Selected Topics in Nursing

Investigates a selected topic in nursing and health care not already covered in the current curriculum.

Class description

This course covers basic skills for academic writing. The course includes 8 topic modules to be completed independently. (Students taking the course for 2 credits will complete 4 modules. Those taking it for three credits will complete all eight.) Additionally, all students will write a 3-5 page paper over the course of the quarter, including participating in a self-evaluation and peer evaluation process. The course is graded on a credit/no credit basis. All assignments must be completed at an 80% level to receive credit.
