Policy Journal Editorial Board

Students nominated by faculty may participate on the editorial board of the Policy Journal. Board members are responsible for managing the content and production of the Policy Journal which is produced at least once per year, with the possibility of additional volumes if sufficient numbers of quality submissions are received. Credit/no credit only.

Class description

BISSKL 400 is the course number associated with membership on the UWB Policy Journal Editorial Board. The UWB Policy Journal is an annual publication that contains scholarly policy-focused works produced by UWB undergraduate and graduate students. Through this course, and participation on the board, students go through the process of marketing for submissions to the journal, submitting an annual budget, reviewing and accepting articles for publication in the journal, and formatting the journal for publication. This course often involves a multiple quarter commitment.
