Study of special topics in interdisciplinary arts and sciences. Prerequisite: BIS 300.
Class description
This course will examine and discuss the events of the ‘Arab Spring’ that started in the late months of 2010 in Tunisia, followed by Egypt and Libya, and ended up with changing the Middle East in many ways. The course will explore various significant socio-cultural, political, and economic transformations the Middle East that contributed to the rise and fall of Arab dictatorships.
