Class description
This is a 2-credit elective course focused on the practice of photography as it relates to contemporary art. In addition to lectures aimed towards equipping participants with an overall understanding of photography’s presence within the art world, the class will serve as a platform for students to work individually to develop several cohesive sets of conceptually and visually strong work. Students will create and maintain Tumblr and Flickr accounts, print work and deliver short presentations to the rest of the class on a weekly basis.
