Class description
Visual Experience: Observation, Multimedia Arts, and the CUSP Portfolio
This course is designed as a context in which you will construct your CUSP Portfolio as you explore your role as an observer, responder, and creator of the visual world around you. From an art criticism perspective, you will look at the structure of interpretation that forms the basis of understanding how our culture operates and identify different influences on our visual experience. This will be a multimedia project-based course incorporating writing, scholarship, lab reports, math assignments, projects, and other archival materials that you choose from your first year at UWB into a CUSP portfolio.
