Special Topics in Management

Topics of current interest to faculty and students. Offered when allowed by faculty availability and sufficient student interest. Prerequisite: minimum grade of 1.7 in B BUS 300; B BSKL 300.

Class description

This Fall 2007 Special Topic involves Competitive Engineering: this class may end up defining "coolness".

Check it out. We are joining with Cingular to provide next generation products and apps. This is about learning to manage cool product dev with cool tech in a cool industry.

You will: learn how to manage a team devoted to "next generation" product dev. It might be something that Cingular may really use!

Lecture, expert consultations, and lots of presentations under fire.

Recommended preparation

You will analyze or even prototype a next generation app or product for market.

A combination of project, presentations, and midterm.
