SHIP will now be available in Summer Quarter with insurance enrollment on June 24, July 19, or August 19, all ending on September 19, 2013. Please visit Summer Quarter Premiums. Autumn Quarter is then available beginning September 20. Please contact the SHIP office so that we can assist you in enrolling in the summer quarter SHIP plan. The Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP), is a voluntary plan offered to domestic UW students and their dependents. International students are required to enroll in the student insurance plan while attending the University of Washington. Enrollment is quarterly or annually and is open until the third Friday of each quarter through MyUW. Eligible students must be registered for courses during the current quarter and remain registered through the third Friday of the quarter. SHIP is administered through Lifewise Assurance Company.
