Grant and Contract Accounting

Grant and Contract Accounting (GCA), a department of Financial Management:

American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA)
Also known as the Stimulus Package or Recovery Act,
the ARRA contains extensive funding for science, engineering
research and infrastructure, and more limited funding for
education, social sciences and the arts.

Sets up grant, contract, and gift budgets in the Financial Accounting System;
Provides oversight and guidance on compliance with federal, university, and sponsor regulations; and
Invoices sponsors, manages related cash, prepares fiscal reports to sponsors and closes grant budgets.
