The Provost has designated Classroom Technology & Events as the steward of the University's general-use classrooms. While learning happens in many locations and ways at the UW, our general-use classrooms continue to be an integral component of the University's academic mission. The UW's general-use classrooms range in size from 8-person breakout rooms to Kane 130, a 720 seat lecture hall. Hundreds of thousands of hours of instruction are conducted each quarter in the Seattle campus general-use classrooms.
