Transforming Engineering Core Course: ENGR 123

College of Engineering

In order to increase class enrollment and ease the entry of more students into ENGR 123, Tools for Transformation funds will go towards purchasing additional computing facilities (work stations) and updating the animation software used by the students. To increase the course emphasis on three-dimensional visualization and communication, more “real world” examples and applications will be introduced into the classwork and exercises.

Faculty will develop course “learning modules” with enhanced, animated visual content to support their lectures. They will also promote asynchronous learning through the use of on-line material and exercises to supplement the classes and lectures.
