Distinguished Teaching Awards Showcase 2009

Join Undergraduate Academic Affairs for the 2009 Distinguished Teaching Awards Showcase at 7 p.m. on May, 28 and hear from several of our Distinguished Teaching Awardees. Each will give a 20-minute mini-class in the same way they teach our undergraduates—complete with new technologies and instructional styles that may be unfamiliar to alumni and parents. It’s your chance to see what our students see and to learn firsthand why the UW is a world-class institution. Mini-classes will be held in different rooms at Mary Gates Hall, and it’s your choice which to attend.

Following the mini-classes, you’re invited to a panel discussion on teaching today. All presenting awardees will be featured, and Vice Provost and Dean Ed Taylor will moderate. A reception will follow the discussion.

There is no cost to attend, but space is limited. To register, go to UWalum.com or call 1-800-AUW-ALUM.
