You’re invited to the Second Annual student scholarship breakfast on Tuesday, March 15 at the Don James Center. Julie Edsforth, MSW '94,co-founder of Powerful Voices and principal of Edsforth Consulting, will chair the event and Howard Behar, former president of Starbucks Coffee Co. and author of It’s Not About the Coffee: Lessons on Putting People First from a Life at Starbucks, will be our keynote speaker.

More than 250 guests attended the Inaugural Scholarship Breakfast in 2010, emceed and chaired by 2006 SSW Distinguished Alumnus James Kelly and featuring William H. Gates Sr. Guests raised $130,000 for undergraduate and graduate student scholarships, allowing the School to serve greater numbers of students than ever before.
