Happy Birthday, NWCPHP!

The Northwest Center for Public Health Practice (NWCPHP) is celebrating its 20th year with, among other things, the launch of its Annual Report and 20-Year Retrospective. This 24-page, full-color publication is being produced as a special supplement to Northwest Public Health and is available online now. It includes stories about activities in partner states, reminiscences from NWCPHP's five former directors and information on NWCPHP training, research, and evaluation activities available throughout the region.

The Northwest Center for Public Health Practice has a new monthly e-mail postcard series, then & now. Sent to public health practitioners throughout the Northwest, the postcards celebrate public health’s hard work and accomplishments.

The most recent postcard documents advances in HIV/AIDS work over the past 20 years and invites viewers to read an interview with Robert Marks, disease intervention specialist supervisor at Public Health – Seattle & King County, as he talks about changes in public health strategies related to STD and HIV.
