Tilahun Adera

Last summer Tilahun Adera (’83, M.S., Epidemiology) was named dean of the College of Health and Human Services at New Mexico State University.

James Anderson
James Anderson

James Anderson (’79, Ph.D., Biostatistics) has been named associate dean for research in the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s College of Public Health. This is a newly created position to support a growing new college. Dr. Anderson is recognized internationally for his work with cancer research, including his service as the group statistician of the Children's Oncology Group.

Meira Epplein
Meira Epplein

After graduating from the UW, Meira Epplein (’07, Ph.D., Epidemiology) did a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at the Cancer Research Center of Hawaii and is now a tenure-track assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Epidemiology at Vanderbilt University.
