Annual PAA Lecture Gets New Look

The Pharmacy Alumni Association (PAA) is continually striving to be an even better resource for School of Pharmacy alumni and members of the Washington pharmacy community.

“We seek to become an organization that allows pharmacists from all spectrums to meet and share their experiences, help solve problems, and keep up-to-date with issues in pharmacy,” said PAA President Ben Michaels.

This year’s Don B. Katterman Memorial Lecture highlights this commitment. Instead of offering a presentation focused on one primary topic—like in past years—it will offer a series of presentations on various important topics in pharmacy practice.

What’s more, it will feature some faculty members you might remember from your time as a student: Doug Black, John Horn, Michaelene “Micki” Kedzierski and Peggy Odegard from the Department of Pharmacy. The topics they will cover are infectious diseases, drug interactions, therapeutic frame and diabetes, respectively.

The PAA hopes to see you there. Visit the Katterman Web site for registration information and lecture details. And please invite all your colleagues from the pharmacy community.
