New FEOP Board Members Elected

The University of Washington Office of Minority Affairs and Diversity recently welcomed eight new members to the Friends of the Educational Opportunity Program (FEOP) Board of Trustees.

Those members include Mylene Barizo (Enterprise Car Rental), Terry James (James Real Estate Group), Natalie Lumpkin Brown (Starbucks), Barbara MacLean (Boeing), Linda Mizumoto (UPS), Deborah Parker (Tulalip Tribes), Omar Riojas (attorney) and Madrienne Salgado (Muckleshoot Tribe).

FEOP meets monthly to assist the vice president for minority affairs and vice provost for diversity with scholarships and program fundraising, provide her with advice on diversity initiatives and program issues, and serve as an information pipeline between the community and the Office of Minority Affairs and Diversity.
