NCAN Regional Conference

The University of Washington and the Washington College Access Network were co-sponsors for the National College Action Network (NCAN) Conference, held March 9 at the Husky Union Building. Nearly 200 NCAN regional participants from Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho and Northern California attended the event.

The participants came from college access providers and youth development organizations, as well as K-12 and higher-education communities. Vice President for Minority Affairs and Vice Provost for Diversity Sheila Edwards Lange was one of two keynote speakers who addressed the topic of “Preparing Students for Postsecondary Success.”
