Come Home for The Weekend 2009!

The Office of Minority Affairs and Diversity is hosting The Weekend, a series of exciting events taking place during the University of Washington’s Homecoming, Oct. 23-25. Events are geared toward alumni of color and supporters of diversity. This three-day celebration includes an alumni mixer, pre-game tailgate and much more. Many of The Weekend events are free or include discounted ticket prices. To purchase your tickets a la carte and for more in-depth event information please visit our Web site. Please note that registration will close Oct. 19.

Reconnect with the University of Washington and demonstrate your Husky pride. Bring your fellow alumni, family and friends for this historical and exciting Weekend.  We look forward to seeing you!

The Weekend begins with an alumni mixer at Hotel Deca. This will be a great opportunity to network, enjoy good music, light appetizers, and reconnect with UW alumni. Spinning will be DJ Uncle Guy.

Multicultural Alumni Partnership (MAP) Breakfast
$45 per person; $400 for Scholarship Sponsor Table of eight

Husky Union Building (HUB) Ballroom
Join us for the 15th annual MAP scholarship fundraiser and celebration. Back by popular demand is the Silent Auction Marketplace, which will take place during the first part of the breakfast. Tailgate/Game
UW Huskies VS. University of Oregon Ducks Tailgate and Game
$15 per person for entrance into OMA&D tailgate area and $46 per person for game tickets
Tailgate: 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.; Game: 12:30 p.m.
Husky Stadium

It wouldn’t be a proper Homecoming weekend without a pre-game tailgate. Join our tailgate at the south practice field, where UW alumni can enjoy catering and pre-game activities. After the tailgate we'll go to the game and cheer on the team. Special group-rate tickets are available and we will all sit together in the west end zone section of the stadium. These seats will save you $20 off the regular ticket price. You can choose to register for both the tailgate and the game, or just one. Go Huskies!

Ivar's Salmon House

Before saying goodbye we will have a UW Alumni Brunch. Brunch reservations are for 11 a.m. at Ivar's Salmon House, 401 N.E. Northlake Way. Due to restaurant size, registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and seating in the private dining room cannot be guaranteed for late registrations.
