Hassmiller to Give Soule Endowed Lecture Feb. 23
Susan Hassmiller, Ph.D., R.N., F.A.A.N., will present the 30th annual Elizabeth Sterling Soule Endowed Lecture on Feb. 23, 2010, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Kane Hall on the UW Seattle campus. Hassmiller is the  Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Senior Adviser for Nursing, where she is tasked with shaping and leading the Foundation’s strategies to address the nurse and nurse faculty shortages in an effort to improve patient care in the United States. 

Established in 1979, the Elizabeth Sterling Soule Endowed Lecture honors the founding dean of the UW School of Nursing. It is an annual presentation featuring prominent nursing and health care leaders and is supported through the Elizabeth Sterling Soule Endowed Fund.
