Sneak Preview 2010—a Successful Event!

More than 300 Husky Band supporters and friends came out to enjoy the beautiful weather, watch football practice and support the Husky Band at the 2010 Husky Football Sneak Preview at the Don James Center on Aug. 19. Donations and a silent auction raised over $30,000 to help replace some of the cuts to the program’s budget.

Some of the highlights of the evening were hearing from Legendary Husky Football Coach Don James as well as former Athletic Director Mike Lude. The audience also enjoyed hearing from Husky Men’s Basketball Coach Lorenzo Romar, and Husky Women’s Soccer Coach Lesle Gallimore.

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who attended the event and gave their financial support to the Band. Special thanks go out to Dick Fain for his wonderful job as our emcee. We would also like to thank Silver Lake Winery, Fish Brewing, Longhorn BBQ and Beth Cook for their support and donations.
